|INNER SELF CREATIONS||
Out of the watery realm, comes all life - the ancient manuscripts tell us. Water being symbolic for the womb, the egg, the source of divinity. It is also symbolic for emotional expression, letting go and dissolution of the human ego. The astrological 'agent' for this energy is Neptune.
Before we take a swim through these elusive waters it is essential to understand that the objective here is pure awareness. All astrological life-streams become dangerous when they are operating unconsciously. They play out through projective means in which you are merely puppets on a string. These energies are real and very much alive and the key here is to work WITH them.
All astrological archetypes exist within us and Neptune is no exception. It has been called many different things in different times on this planet i.e God, Goddess, mermaids, sirens, muses, the fates, moira, rainbow serpent, spirit of water - it is still the same life-stream that lives within. This force can take on many faces.
The Neptunian realm is both revered and feared by most humans for its dazzling enchantments are equally matched by its dangerous threat to drown out any mortal who reveals its mysterious secrets.
Addictions - When the force of Neptune remains unconscious in our lives it manifests through addictive tendencies that promote self destruction. Drug and alcohol abuse is the usual route taken here. The unconscious enchantment by Neptune's sirens, open up a compulsive need to escape the perceived ills of life in a desperate dash for attaining that state of womb like oblivion.
Martyrdom - Uncontrolled raging forces of Neptunian Siren's can bring through a victim type of expression within the world. This can take the route of identifying the ego within a masochistic/sadistic polarity. The Sadist and Masochist are rooted within the same Neptunian dilemma of a fractured ego.
Delusion - There is a fine line between genius and insanity and Neptunian forces out of control can really make us wonder what side of the line we are on. If we don't keep a healthy balance between solidifying the ego and being open to life, how can we expect to have accurate perceptions of others? The seesaw effect invites delusional fears into our minds making it difficult to take a grip on a floundering reality.
Empathy - When we are in touch with our Neptune we understand that life is interconnected and we operate as per the law of one. The ego is malleable and we instinctively can tune into the energy fields of people, places, objects and animals. Our relationships are balanced because we see and experience no separation from 'other'. We trust our impressions.
Spirituality - True spirituality is not about dogma, philosophy, creeds or doctrines. It is about tapping into the silence of the heart and forming a personal and special relationship with the waters of life. There is no fear of losing the self as there is a realization that all is one.
Creativity - A conscious and healthy relationship to Neptune's sirens allow us to tap into the celestial realms and bring through ideals onto the earth plane. We are naturally at one with the dream/creative realm and we can visualize clearly. Colours, sounds and all objects are seen for what they are - frequencies. Life becomes a creative flowing dance with the universe.
